Abstract:
Extraordinary performance properties can be achieved in ("α""⁄""β") and ("α"2"⁄""γ") titanium alloys by tailoring their composition and microstructure. We will discuss the role of microstructure and how it is shaped by solidification, solid-state transformation and thermal-mechanical processing.
